Located in the Ahala district, a suburb of Cameroon’s capital Yaounde, the tourist site Eco-Park is a majestic complex that makes an impression at first glance.
It is a heavenly complex made up of three restaurants, a games room, four conference and party rooms, a football stadium, a zoo with several Animal species such as the « Dromedary ». Fish ponds, a hotel school, a hiking trail without forgetting the newly opened gymnasium which meets the demands of many customers staying in the hotels or who come to have fun.
Due to his love and passion for tourism, Mr. Christophe Foe Ndi came up with this project that covers a surface area of about 8 hectares and gives visitors exotic flavors of Cameroon.
The economic stakes of this site are numerous since it contributes to the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) of the country by reducing unemployment. The promoter says « young people can find stable employment and thus participate in the development of tourism in Cameroon« .
Again, Eco-Park contributes to the reduction of importation of fish by its ponds where we find several varieties of fish.
The tourist site records nearly 800 visitors in the rainy season and around 2000 in the dry season per month.
The upcoming African Cup of Nations is another opportunity for this magical site to highlight Cameroonian delicates to all national and international visitors.
